Yes, I'm still alive...

Ohhhh...mannnn......

I still do not have internet in my house, and now my computer is breaking. As you can see, it has been a little difficult to blog. I feel like I have so much to say and as many of you have found out, a lot has been going on in my life lately. Its going to be too hard to create confluence without using numbers:

1.School resumed...to something somewhat normal except that everything is frantic because exams are coming up. There were tons of make-up classes at odd hours and I was completely exhausted from running all over town trying to find hidden classrooms. My school owns an old army barracks and they have turned that into a place to hold classes...its strange and really hard to get to but at least I am getting my money's worth of classes, right?

2. There was a break-up in my life. I could write pages and pages, none of which I would publish but...it's difficult. Yet getting easier, Braden is one of my best friends and it is impossible not to stay close with him. Eugh...it really sucks right now though. That is enough of that.

3. I was facing a lonesome Christmas but my father, being on land at the time, and my aunt Bonnie, being a retired flight attendant, resulted in his spontaneous travel to Lyon. Its good to have him here. But I must admit, I had the strangest Christmas ever. Slept till about 1PM, my dad stayed in bed for 2 hours after me, we went for a walk, came home, made linguini and clam sauce, and watched this movie about a kid in Ghana with one leg. Now that I think about things, I might consider a Christmas like this to be relatively normal in my life.

4.I'm going to Paris for New Years! My dad is leaving on the 31st so we are headed to Paris tomorrow. After a few days in Paris after the turning of 2008, I'm going to Toulouse to hang out with Beth Ceryak and her Aunt and Uncle. I heard Toulouse was a pretty cool place and I'm looking forward to seeing it.

5. After I come back...I am REALLY in for a whirlwind. I have exams, first of all, but to make things a little more complicated, I have to arrange to take half of them early because I am heading back to the states on the 16th for Sara's Wedding. Whilst taking my tests and organizing that whole mess, I have to somehow find a black dress for the actual wedding (I'm in it). My body type, being what it is-the exact opposite of every french woman-I am in for quite the needle-in-the-hay search. I do not want to think about that right now but trust me, thats gonna be a mission. And Im gonna need a tall drink after its done.

6. Sigggggggggghhhhhhh...what else? I have so many emails to write. This whole internet and now fritzey computer thing is killing me. To everyone out there, I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN ABOUT YOU, ITS JUST EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO DO ANYTHING WITHOUT INTERNET. I really miss home right now.

7. Okay...thats all I can think of for now. I'll be back to let you all know how Paris and Toulouse went. Sorry for the lameness and scarcity of my posts. Thanks for reading, if you even are.
